In the Softness of Early March

Dear reader,

These past days unfolded gently, shaped by light and quiet movement.

In the early mornings, I found myself walking near the studio, capturing small fragments of nature — soft fields, changing skies, and the stillness that lingers just before the day fully begins. These moments, though simple, often stay with me and slowly find their way into my work.

I have also gathered a few of these morning photographs.
If you feel inspired by them, you are welcome to use them as quiet references for your own work. You can find them here.

Back inside, I completed a larger painting for an online exhibition curated by Sergio Gomez. It explores a space "Between here & becoming" that has been drawing me lately — somewhere between night and morning, where the light touches softly and everything feels suspended, just for a moment.

I also painted a smaller sunset artwork, inspired by the light I have been observing around my studio. It is based on a small inspiring subject I will soon share in a new Skillshare class — where soft blue, golden, and pink tones gently intertwine.

And in a different rhythm altogether, I began rebuilding part of the garden — preparing the ground for a small vegetable space. Simple work, close to the earth, under an unexpectedly warm March sky.

Thank you for stepping into these quiet
moments with me.

Warmly,
Evgenia
